Lattimer Loves His Twitter

Texas Tech's poor man's answer to Lattimer Brandon Carter has been suspended by coach Mike Leach for comments made on his Twitter account. According to the Austin American Statesman:

Linebacker Marlon Williams asked on his Twitter account why he was still in a meeting room when "the head coach can't even be on time." That tweet has been deleted and his page no longer exists.

Star offensive tackle Brandon Carter, a team captain, also had a Twitter page. After the loss to the Cougars, he tweeted: "This is not how I saw our season."

On Sunday, Carter was suspended indefinitely for violating team rules unrelated to his Twitter page, which was nowhere to be found later that day.

Leach said players don't need Twitter or Facebook. He called them "stupid" distractions.

"I think that a guy who plays college football gets enough attention," he said. It's for "a bunch of narcissists that want to sit and type stuff about themselves all the time. We'll put mirrors in some of their lockers if that's necessary, but they don't have to Twitter."

No announcements have been made regarding a possible substitute for pre-game spit swaps.

Man sues Bank of America for $1,784 Billion Trillion Dollars.....Sounds Reasonable

Dalton Chiscolm is an ambitious American wanting justice through the legal system. Chiscolm was unhappy because Bank of America would not deposit some of his checks due to problems with their routing numbers. And his efforts to solve the problem with the help of a "Spanish womn" were unsatisfactory. Chiscolm's lawsuit requests damages for his suffering, specifically, he asks that "1,784 billion, trillion dollars" be deposited into his ATM account the next day. He also demanded an additional $200,164,000."

Update. This is not his first lawsuit. In Janaury 2009, Chiscolm sued his landlord for $892 million billion dollars -- or $892 quadrillion. In his January complaint, Chiscolm alleged that "Manerment nor mainterntmen had no atcuse's to go in my apartment what so ever I had to keep a lock no the kichen cabernit." The court dismissed his complaint.

Cowboys Cheerleaders are probably smatter than half the NFL

If you're going to make it in the Cowboys organization, you better cram, because you'll take written tests on everything from Cowboys history to Texas culture to world affairs.
They take a nearly 100-question test during tryouts and are asked to name everything from the governor of Texas to a country that borders Iraq.
Apparently DE Marcus Spears took the test, and he would make a great cheerleader...the rest not so sure.

Cage Dancers at new Cowboy's Stadium.... Genius

I don't know that that little structure qualifies as an actual cage, but Al Michaels referred to the ladies inside as "cage dancers."
When a man spends a billion dollars on a stadium, that man is entitled to cage dancers.
Chris Collinsworth had to be reminded to keep his pants on.

Obama might be America's President

Political leanings aside here is one instance where Obama speaks 100% truth.
During a conversation which was supposed to be off the record. ABC employees over heard a conversation in which Obama called Kanye a jackass.... what happened next is the employee twitted (however you refer to twitter) to America.

College Student by day....Ninja by night

A Johns Hopkins University student armed with a samurai sword killed an intruder in his garage, Baltimore police said Tuesday.
In the garage, the student told police he discovered a man and when the student told the man to get out, the man accosted him. The student defended himself with the sword, cutting off the man's hand and causing a severe laceration to his upper body.
